Channeling
Channeling occurs in many forms. While some may seem extraordinary, others are subtler in nature and we take them for granted, not realizing what is happening through us.
For instance, does music, artwork, or writing, sometimes appear to flow effortlessly through you rather then come consciously from you? Does it sometimes seem like someone else must have done it because you don’t remember doing it? Or, have you said words of wisdom to a friend, and wondered where they came from? These are everyday forms of channeling that occur as our Guides quietly work through us from behind the scenes, to enrich us, and those who will benefit from “our” work.
A Simple Formula
Here is a simple way to think of channeling. In an automobile, as long as adequate energy is flowing from the battery through the car parts to mobilize the car, the battery brand name isn’t important. With channeling, as long as the energy flowing between the spirit (battery) and physical body (car parts) is compatible, the name of the spirit (battery) doesn’t matter.
Forms of Channeling Regina Uses
Following are forms of channeling that Regina uses in her work along with definitions, facts, and notable people who have used these techniques.
Automatic Writing: sitting with paper and pen or at a computer keyboard and allowing creative processes to occur without conscious thought or effort.
Regina utilizes automatic writing for herself and others when needing specific answers to challenging circumstances and for receiving messages from the other side for friends and clients. She has often experienced finding poetry, prose, and other written information on the page without the remembrance of having written what appears.
Notable channeled material
- Dr. Helen Schucman (1909–1981), research psychologist and author of A Course in Miracles, said she was told what to write by an inner voice.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson stated that his essays were channeled through him.
- Neale Donald Walsch says that his series, Conversations with God,were channeled.
- Krishnamurti, philosophical and spiritual Indian writer, claimed that one of his first books came about through automatic writing.
- Authors of The Holy Bible were said to have channeled what they wrote.
Vocal Channeling: granting a spirit or entity permission to use body and vocal cords to deliver information or messages.
Regina is fully aware of all that occurs during a session while some channels say do not remember anything.
Notable channels
- Jane Roberts (1929–1984), American author, poet and trance medium, channeled Seth from which the “Seth Material” was published.
- Danielle Egnew, actress, musician, and clairvoyant channel is known for successfully assisting with cold case investigations, working with Hollywood Studio Heads and Fortune 500 Executives, on paranormal investigative teams and as creative consultant for paranormal television programs.
Body Energy Channeling: allowing the flow of universal energy to channel through the facilitator’s hands with the intention of connecting the recipient with their own capacity to heal. This in turn allows blocked energy to be released and smoothed throughout the recipient’s energy fields and pathways, restoring a natural balance of health and wellbeing.

Notable Body Energy Channels
- Barbara Brennan, trained NASA physicist and author of several books on body energy, extensively researched the human energy field and owns the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in Florida and schools in Europe and Japan.
- Dr. Dolores Krieger and Dora Kunz founded Therapeutic Touch (TT) in the 1970s. TT is one of the most used forms of body energy work by nurses in the U.S. today.
- Mikao Usui is the Japanese originator of the hands-on healing technique, Reiki, discovered in 1922.

Notable Mediums
- James Van Praagh, author of several books and co-producer of the television show, The Ghost Whisperer, receives information from spirits and was the first medium to perform TV readings. He regularly teaches mediumship seminars and workshops.
- John Edward, is host of his own television shows Crossing Over with John Edward and John Edward Cross Country on which he receives messages from the spirit realm for people in his audience.
- Lisa Williams is a well-known clairvoyant who has had two television shows; Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead and Lisa Williams: Voices From the Other Side. In each show she gives live readings to people as she goes about her typical day.
Psychopomp (Also called Deathwalkers): one who leads souls to the afterlife. Greek from the words pompos (guide) and psyche (breath, life, soul, or mind).
As a sensitive, Regina is called to help those on both sides of the veil. As Death Midwife she helps those who are in the dying process. As psychopomp, she aids those who have gone through the dying process who still need assistance.
Many believe that deceased relatives and friends greet the newly dead on the other side, welcoming them and making their transition easier. However, sometimes there are those who have died who need someone from this side to lead them through the veil between life and death to a place or condition in which they feel at ease. There may be unfinished business that keeps them from fully making that transition. Or, they may wish to give a message to a living loved one before they move into their next realm.
There are also times when the deceased are unaware that they are no longer in physical form and become caught between worlds creating uncomfortable situations for both them and those living. Regina has helped spirits come to understand their circumstances and move on.
Notable Psychopomps or Deathwalkers
- Kristin Madden, was a former environmental chemist, and now works as an avian biologist and wildlife rehabilitation clinic director. She is also Dean of Ardantane’s School for Shamanic Studies in Albuquerque NM. Kristin inherited the deathwalker path from her mother who raised her in this tradition.
- Terry and Natalia O’Sullivan, husband and wife team who have traveled the world assisting spirits to find peace.
- Shamans often play the role of psychopomp as it is easy for them to move between the worlds.
Research on Channeling
There are differing theories today about what channeling or mediumship is. Fortunately, scientists are devoting more time and attention to researching this subject.
Jon Klimo, Ph.D., writer, university educator, researcher, and Full Professor in the clinical program at The American Schools of Professional Psychology, in San Francisco is considered to be the world's leading authority on channeling. Klimo graduated from Brown University and received his Ph.D. in Psychology from Rosebridge Graduate School of Integrative Psychology in 1988.
In the final chapter of his book Channeling: Investigations on Receiving Information from Paranormal Sources, Klimo states:
I firmly believe that we are moving ever closer toward a Grand Unified Theory for everything. Such a theory would have to include not only an integration of the various forces of Nature known to physicists but an integration of those forces with the dimensions of mind, heart, and spirit as well.…The paranormal, and channeling specifically, may just be another name for the place where outer and inner, objective and subjective reality (as we have called them) meet and shade into each other. (p.411)
Gary E. Schwartz, Ph.D., Professor of psychology, medicine, neurology, psychiatry, and surgery at the University of Arizona and director of its Human Energy Systems Laboratory, received his doctorate from Harvard University and has taught at Yale University. Schwartz authored the book, The Afterlife Experiments: Breakthrough Scientific Evidence of Life After Death.
In the preface of the book, Schwartz wrote,
[T]he more experiments we did, the more we discovered many remarkable statements…. [D]oes all this mean the mediums are actually getting information from the departed? It seems unlikely – it contradicts accepted science. Yet we have been unable to find any other convincing explanation for the totality of the findings. … [M]any of the readings in these pages had an accuracy rate as high as 90 percent. (p.xxii)
In his final chapter of the book, Schwartz states,
It’s true to say that the experiments at the University of Arizona have brought forth some remarkable events – so many, in fact, that to dismiss them is to commit the ultimate scientific sin. When a researcher is fortunate enough to repeatedly witness and collect extraordinary data in many experiments over many years, she or he has the responsibility to respect the reality of those facts. (p.268)
Q’s and A’s
When did you first begin to channel? My first channeling session was on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 1989.
Does having someone else in your body hurt? No, not at all.
Do you hear what’s being said? Yes. I am fully aware during sessions. In the beginning, I often worried how a question would be answered, but over the years, hearing such accurate answers, I learned to trust what was being said.
Do you sound the same when you are channeling? Not to me. And, those who witness sessions tell me that I sound different. I first channeled a woman who said she was Elsbeth from Wales. She spoke through me with a Welsh accent, which I couldn’t do to save my life outside of channeling! She had a wonderful sense of humor! Elsbeth told me she came to help me attune to the art of channeling and to prepare me for higher frequency entities to come.
Where do you go when the spirits are speaking though you? I seem to move up into the right-hand side of my head where I remain totally aware of all that occurs.
Can you see the entities? Yes. Much like a movie in my mind’s eye. For example, Elsbeth dressed in clothing from the 1500’s, the era she said she lived in. She wore a long coarse grey dress, tight at the bodice, with a white collar, apron, and bonnet. She was short, plump and cheerful faced.
Who or what are you channeling? At different times, I have experienced what feels to be non-physical otherworld beings, angels, spirit guides, and deceased humans. Some coming through have called themselves a collective, meaning several entities speaking as one. They each have their own field of expertise. It is possible that I am channeling my higher self, or receiving information from the collective subconscious. I can only tell you from personal experience that the information coming through me seems to be relevant and meaningful to those who are present and that the presences behind the voices feel sacred, comforting, compassionate, and genuinely concerned with helping mankind.
